Interrail 2010 - Italy - Pisa

Travelling from Nice took most of the day so we only stayed here for a night before heading of to Venezia. Pisa was a lot smaller than we had imagined. They have the leaning tower, thousands of souvenir stores and that's pretty much it. Oh, there is also a lot of Africans walking around trying / forcing you to buy hats and other crap. One actually came into the restaurant where we ate and interrupted our meal trying to sell us hats.

In München we met two American brothers who where headed for France and Italy. Their plan was to test how quick they could see Pisa before heading of again. They would lock their backpacks at the station, run to the tower, take a picture before running back to the station again. After being in Pisa I can recommend this approach!
